Hang an Artwork

Video Sequence
Summer 2026

Hang an Artwork is a reflection and portrait of a task I've repeated countless times over the past 15 years of working in galleries and museums. Starting with the example of the "finished product" to inform the process, I work through the standard steps required to hang and artwork. This video sequence was planned as a perfect loop, where the first clip is cut from the last in the timeline. This loop reinforces the concept, by allowing the video to be repeated infinitely without pause. The style of this video is inspired by Van Neistat's productions for Tom Sachs and Museum of Modern Art's Series At The Museum.

I see this video as a conceptual foundation for tutorials, instructional videos, and process documentation that I would pursue with these newly practiced video skills.
